Performance Aircraft is pleased to announce the addition of Chris Van Nostrand to our flight training team as Certified Flight Instructor.
As a kid, Chris’ parents asked him what he wanted to grow up to be. After all the flight simulating and plane watching he had done, Chris knew he wanted to be a pilot. Chris shares, “I was that little kid that said he wanted to be a pilot and meant it.”
Chris first encountered Performance Aircraft in 2012 at a Duncan Aviation Day. He began his flight training and quickly earned his Private Pilot Certificate in the summer of 2013. He then traveled to Salina, Kansas to continue his flight training at Kansas State Polytechnic. In 2016, he graduated with his Bachelor of Science and a minor in Safety. He obtained his Certified Flight Instructor and Certified Flight Instrument Instructor licenses while in school.
In his free time, Chris enjoys biking, playing soccer, and hiking. He also enjoy flying and watching airplanes, of course.
Chris is excited to be at Performance Aircraft now as a Flight Instructor, inspiring and enabling students as they make their aviation goals a reality.
We are thrilled to have Chris on board to help us achieve our mission of inspiring and enabling aviation dreams—one relationship, one aircraft, and one flight at a time.
